Aceros Chile S.A. was established in 1980 to produce the necessary cast and wrought products for the railroad industry and internals for crushers. Beginning in 1996, the company focused exclusively on the design and manufacture of cast linings for crushers, SAG mills, ball mills, and rod mills for the mining industry.
As a result of 15 years of specialization, Aceros Chile is today, the Chilean company with the greatest production capacity for these products and is also the most important exporter in the field.
To achieve this, the company has made extensive investments in the physical plant, while at the same time has worked with Chilean Universities and recognized North American consultants to develop employee training programs.
Moreover, we have invested in software tools and technical
support for casting and mill design and in equipment for measuring dimensions with high precision. Therefore today, the company is the Chilean specialist in design and fabrication of liners for crushers and mills.
In 2011, a new heat treatment furnace began operation which elevated the production capacity of Aceros Chile to 24,000 tons per year.
These achievements were possible thanks to the close relationships with our clients, development of work teams, and the agility to always respond to find the best solution for design and fabrication of cast pieces.
Today, Aceros Chile S.A. is one company with the personnel, knowledge, and technology to compete with suppliers at the top international level.

Working closely with the customer at the operational site.
Teams are formed together with mining company personnel, including operational, maintenance and purchasing. We study and evaluate engineering and manufacturing modifications to improve the casting performance and durability.
Rapid response to questions.
Our engineers and specialists are available to the workplace where they can obtain timely information on production problems. Our goal is to give prompt resolution of client's needs and quick response time during emergencies.
Orientation toward quality.
Dimensional control using the appropriate templates or fixtures. Hardness. Magnetic particle inspection to detect near surface problems. Ultrasonic testing for internal defects. Each casting has a seal of quality in the form of a bar code, which allows traceability from the design process through the manufacture of the product.
